The Grand Launch
Oooh man!! Look what happened tonight...
Yesss!! Special thanks goes to T.J. at ibiblio.org because The Irondog Chronicles had it's first launch of a podcast tonight. Live from the famous and infamous A5 on McCauley St in Chapel Hill...Fresh since '94...you sucka'!
To set the scene, reporter Adam Geller and his photographer from the Durham Herald-Sun were at the crib. Geller's working on an article for Sunday, and he's working on a radio segment for WCHL on the subject of podcasting. So, be sure to check out the Sunday edition of the Herald Sun, and tune into WCHL throughout the day on Friday for his work. The WCHL segment will contain an accompanying interview with Dave Winer of the Scripting News. .
In the meantime, hit up this link for the first podcast entitled "Grand Opening Podcast" (The RSS Feed is at the bottom of the page). I was a little nervous at first, and I'm still messing with the show's intro a bit. If you dig it, drop me a line at bret.dougherty@gmail.com. The next step is to get the podcast segments tightened up a bit with each try. So, be sure to keep tuning in.
As a side note, I'm working with the labratz at ibiblio to develop a podcast for 'Notes from the Lab'. Until then, have fun. It's 1:30AM...I did my first podcast, and I'm winding down while watching one of my all-time favorites, 'Thunderheart'...Life's good people...Life's good.

Yo Bret, what is the RSS feed for the podcast? I tried your atom.xml (the XML icon) but that doesn't seem to have any audio enclousres...
