Spring Break...c'mon, whoever heard of such a thing...I'm still here.
I'm getting my fill from my next door neighbor's pics from Key West...Sorry y'all, I can't divulge my boys like that, but maybe I'll start putting some whylin' stuff in the future from the snappy duo.
On the tech tip, Paul Jones is getting it done in San Diego this week. Check out his bits at "The Real Paul Jones". Great snippet on Jeff Bezos.
Paul would also like to remind all that Jessamyn West will be speaking at the Freedom Forum Center at the UNC-CH Journalism School this Monday, March 21. West will be discussing her travails as a tech-saavy librarian working in the digital divide that exists in public libraries across the U.S. Check in to Paul Jones's post on her here for more info....As a note, this should be a great lecutre, and I will be there...
Oliver Wang's 'Soulsides' blog reported that Lynn Collins passed away. Check out Wang's solid bio on her. You'll recognize her voice when you think of the snippet from Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock's "It Takes Two". Damn, that voice was hot!
Great stuff from "Cool Hunting". Last week, Rubin reported on Os Gemeos working on a collector edition shoe for Nike for the release of the short Brazilian documentary "Ginga". The two Brazilian brothers are holding a solo show in New York City until April 2 on 76 Grand Street at Deitch Projects...Straight Dope.
One more day to St. Patrick's Day, but personally, I don't like the way that it's growing. Check out this posting from Adweek.
Lastly, here is a great article on UTEP swing guard/small forward, Omar Thomas, from Pete Thamel of the New York Times...Thamel knows his stuff...And he wrote a great story on Thomas's battle from the streets of Philadelphia through a detention center in Texas. Great kid, and after this article, I'm pulling for Thomas to have a big tournament showing for Billy Gillespie at against Utah.

I gots to bounce, but to Fred Stutzman, "The Explainer"...I'll have my picks here before Thursday's deadline. That way it's on the docket!
